Domestic functional nylon fabrics underwent major technical upgrades in the first half of 2026, with mass production launched for three innovative variants: bio-based temperature-regulating nylon, Jindun physical UV-blocking nylon, and high-strength wear-resistant nylon, strongly supporting fishing shirts and sun-protective activewear production. Ultra-thin cool-touch nylon optimized for fishing shirts weighs under 50g per square meter while retaining dual UPF 50 UV defense and quick-dry breathability, resolving pain points of sweltering heat, harsh sunlight exposure and fabric yellowing degradation during summer angling.

Textile manufacturers saw explosive export order growth: total sales of raw yarn sun-protective fabrics rose 30% year-on-year from January to May, with nearly half of nylon fishing shirt fabrics exported to Europe, North America, Japan, South Korea and the Middle East. Overseas buyers favor plain solid-color button-up long-sleeve fishing shirts, enforcing strict testing standards for nylon's sunlight resistance and saltwater corrosion tolerance. Domestic fabric mills built full SGS certification systems for UV protection, abrasion and water repellency, enabling small-to-medium garment factories to secure OEM export orders. Industry forecasts project the 2026 woven nylon fabric market to hit 35.29 billion RMB, with outdoor sports acting as the top growth engine
